As an experienced Exercise Physiologist, Professional Teacher and Program Director, I specialize in sports performance coaching and community wellness programs.

Although aging is a part of life, the effects of aging can be delayed or ameliorated through targeted exercise. I have extensive knowledge in cardiac rehabilitation, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome, arthritis, and adult aging issues. I can help develop a diet and exercise plan that is right for you so that your long years can be active and healthy. As the lead exercise physiologist for a six-year Highmark Osteoporosis HOPE Study, I have developed specialized exercises that can help lessen the pain associated with osteoporosis and increase your joint mobility. I work with individuals or groups of any size.

I received a M. Ed. Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh. I concentrated in exercise design, cardiac rehabilitation, nutrition, diet, and weight training. I also have a B.S. in Health and Physical Education from the University of Pittsburgh and am certified in Pennsylvania as a teacher. The emphasis of my education was children and teens with special needs, aquatics, competitive coaching, and adult fitness.
